JCM Part No . 960 - 000044R _ Rev . 2 © 2007, JCM American, Corporation 8 ICB Enable/Disable Procedure Intelligent Cash Box (ICB) System To Print Tickets 9 ICB Enable/Disable Procedure Starting with Version 3 . 00 - 20i, the ICB function is controlled via an ENABLE or DISABLE ticket using the Set Ticket software along with the TPS - 200 Printer, and inserting the new ticket into the Validator whenever the Bill Acceptor needs to be enabled or disabled . Use the Machine Number Set Ticket program to create the ENABLE/DISABLE tickets as follows: 1 . Load fan - fold paper into the TPS - 200 Printer, and attach the AC power cord . 2 . Attach one end of the 9 - pin communications cable (female - to - female) to the RS - 232 port on the Printer, and attach the other end to an unused Serial Port on your PC computer . 3 . Turn the Printer power ON . 4 . Double click on the ICB Ticket Icon . This opens the ICB Print Set Ticket Simulation window shown in Figure 26 . 5 . Click on the Poll Start button . This will open up the COM Setting window shown in Figure 27 . The only change necessary on this window could possibly be the COM Port setting in the Port pull - down menu . If no change is required, click on the SET button . This action opens the primary Ticket Format window shown in Figure 28 . Modify Form - 1 to create the ENABLE ticket as follows: 1 . Change the top title line by typing ENABLE TICKET into it ( See Figure 29) . Change the Attr Bar - Code to 03 . Change the Machine Code window to all Ones (1111111 ... ) . 2 . Return to the ICB Print Set Ticket Simulation window and print a ticket as described in the following To Print Tickets section . To Print Tickets 1 . Leave the Ticket Format Window open . 2 . Make the Form - 1 ICB Print Set Ticket window the active window . 3 . Click on the Reset button, then click Print Start to print tickets . NOTE: The ON/OFF switch is located on the back of the Printer Station .
