To
select
a
SERIAL
PORT
perform
the
following
steps:

the
required
port
from
the
PORTS
AVAILABLE
column
.

the
selection
to
the
PORTS
USED
column
using
the
Right
Arrow
Button
.

Click
the
CLOSE
Screen
Button
to
return
to
the
primary
MDM
Data
Screen
.
To
remove
a
port
reverse
steps

the
Left
Arrow
Button
in
step

to
move
the
selected
port
back
to
the
PORTS
AVAILABLE
column
.
The
CASHBOX
NUMBER
Tab
(See
Figure

)
is
used
for
setting
the
automatic
numbering
feature
.
If
an
ICB
Cash
Box
should
lose
the
ID
number
set
for
it
in
memory,
the
Docking
Station
will
assign
a
new
number
automatically
.

option

set

Boxes
during

initial
ICB
installation
and
will
then
run
consecutively
