Remove the E - ring from the Belt Tensioning Shaft, and remove the Drive Gear . ( See Figure 4 - 29 a) . 8 . Remove the two (2) mounting screws and two (2) washers securing the Belt Tensioning Assembly to the frame ( See Figure 4 - 29 b 1 & b 2 ) . 9 . Remove the E - ring from the shaft, and shift the shaft toward the opposite side . Two (2) pins that secure the gear in place will appear; remove them ( See Figure 4 - 30 a) . 10 . Pull the shaft out of the assembly and remove the two (2) Belt Tension Assemblies as illustrated by the large arrows in Figure 4 - 30 b 1 & b 2 . 11 . Remove each Tensioner’s E - ring and disassemble the units into their respective Drive Belts, Tension Rollers, Pulleys, Ten - sion Springs, and Shaft (See Figure 4 - 31) . Rear Unit Disassembly Validator Timing Belt and Drive Motor Removal Perform the following steps to disassemble the AD - 02™ Rear Unit Assembly: 1 . Begin by removing the Timing Belt ( See Figure 4 - 32 a) . 2 . Remove the three (3) Rear Unit Cover mount - in screws ( See Figure 4 - 32 b 1 , b 2 & b 3 ), then remove the cover (See Figure 4 - 32 c) . 3 . Cut the Cable Tie (See Figure 4 - 32 d) . 4 .
