Turn the AD - 02™ Power OFF and return the DIP Switches previously changed to their original positions . The software update procedure is now complete . Checking The Serial Port Assignment Any PC Serial Port may be used depending on the availability of unused ports presently un assigned . To assign a different serial port proceed as follows: 1 . Click on File and Comm Setup in the Pull Down Menu ( See Figure 6 - 9), and select the desired port from the Communication Setup Screen that appears (See Figure 6 - 10) . Control Panel Overview Figure 6 - 11 illustrates the AD - 02™ 7 - Segment LED Display, Test Switches SW1, SW2, SW3, and three (3) small LED Condition Indicators for JAM, FULL, and EMPTY respectively on the control panel located at the bottom front side of the unit . The small LED indicators provide the following:   JAM Bill transport error condition   FULL Bill storage bin is full   EMPTY Bill storage bin is empty The symbols illustrated in Figure 6 - 12 are used to indicate alphabetic characters in the four (4) letter 7 - Segment Display . Figure 6 - 8 File Transmission Complete Screen NOTE: If the progress bar does not work during program execution, an error may have occurred in the communication between the PC and the AD - 02 . The probable cause of mis - communication is usually attributable to an incorrectly assigned serial port number . Any port number other than COM1 may be used on a PC if COM1 is assigned to othe r peripherals . In this case, click on [File] [Comm Setup] and change the port number to an unused port .
