U NIT O NE C OUNTING S ENSOR ADJUSTMENT To initiate a Unit One Counting Sensor adjustment proceed as follows: 1 . Insert Yupo #80 Calibration Paper between the transmitter and receiver of the Unit One Counting Sensor ( See Figure 6 - 34 “d” for location) . 2 . Press Switch SW2 to begin the test ( See Figure 6 - 33 j) . The unit will make the necessary adjustment and then displays 1yPo ( See Figure 6 - 33 k) . D IRECT B EAM C OUNTING S ENSOR ADJUSTMENT To initiate a Direct Beam Counting Sensor adjust - ment proceed as follows: 1 . With NO Calibration Paper inserted between the transmitter and receiver of the any Counting Sensor Units, press Switch SW2 ( See Figure 6 - 36 c) . E NDING T HE C OUNTING S ENSOR ADJUSTMENT Once all of the sensor adjustments are completed, the acquired data will be written into memory by pressing SW2 until End is displayed (See Figure 6 - 36) . Test #9 Communication Loopback Test Test #9 provides a loopback test to determine the functionality of the serial communication port . To conduct the Communication Loopback Test proceed as follows: 1 . Short - circuit transmit and receive pins 2 & 3 of the communication port as illustrated in Figure 6 - 37 a . 2 . Press Status Switch SW1 to advance to Test #9, the Communications Loopback Test ( See Figure 6 - 37 b) . 3 . When T9 is displayed, Press SW3 to begin the test ( See Figure 6 - 37 c) . Data will contin - uously be transmitted in intervals of approxi - mately 0 . 5 seconds bursts . 4 . End the test by pressing Status Switch SW1 again ( See Figure 6 - 37 d) . Remove the short between pins 2&3 .
