The
Return
Lever
(See

top

Coin
Validator

operated
by
using
the
Vending
Machines
Return
Button
.
The
Return
Lever
is
used
to
return
coins
or
clear
jams
.
When
pushed,
the
fly
deck
opens
so
that
all
objects
within
the
Coin
Validator
are
directed
to
the
return
cup
.

Keypad
The
front
of
the
Coin
Validator
is
equipped
with
a
five
key
touch
-
sensitive
Keypad

which
is
used
to
dispense
coins
from
an

perform
filling
procedures
to
increase
coin
inventory
before
the
unit
is
placed
into
operation

Indicator
Lights
There
are
three
Light
-
Emitting
Diode
(LED)
indi

cator
lights
on
the
front
of
the
Coin
Validator
posi

tioned
beneath
one
another
colored
Green,
Yellow,
and
Red,
respectively

Figure

)
.
These
lights
are
mainly
used
for
quick
diagnostics,
and
current
status
indication
(See
Figure
3
-
1
)
.
If
the
top
Green
LED
lights
or
flashes,
no
faults
are
indicated
and
the
device
is
working
properly
.
If
the
middle
Yellow
LED
flashes
there
is
a
definite
gen
-
eral
fault
indicated
that
can
usually
be
easily
repaired
.
If
the
bottom
Red
LED
flashes,
a
fault
that
must
be
remedied
by
a
service
technician
is
indicated
(also
see
the
Section
14
"Troubleshooting"
appendix)
.
Interfaces
There
is
a

the
back

the
Coin
Validator
module

This
module
connects
with
the
main
chassis

means

ribbon

the
top
right
front

allows
the
Coin
Changer
to
be
connected
to
a
Palm
Pilot

handheld
device
for
